Created with Architect Rik Frans Jansen for HumainProjects, this installation consists of three aluminium display pedestals that support and illuminate their ceramic cups. Each pedestal is built from reclaimed aluminium sourced from different industries and finished with a pearlblasted surface for a soft matte appearance. A small lighting element is integrated into the top to highlight the object it carries. The result is a set of quiet and minimal supports that give industrial waste a new role in a refined exhibition context.
